“Now, in September 2019, Bumbleride is releasing a new stroller that may an even better fit for families hitting a trail today and the mall tomorrow.
The Bumbleride Era—available for pre-order at Strolleria—is the company’s first four-wheeled stroller, combining smaller, air-filled tires with convenient everyday features like a reversible seat.
If you plan to run with your stroller, you’ll want to stick with the Bumbleride Indie (or the larger-wheeled Bumbleride Speed). With its 3-wheeled design and lighter weight, the Indie is designed for optimal maneuverability and performance while running.
But if you’re considering a jogging stroller for both everyday use and for activities like hiking or walking the beach, you’ll find pros and cons in both Bumbleride options.
We’ll compare the differences between the Bumbleride Era and the Bumbleride Indie in this post.”
“If you’re looking for a single stroller to tackle the challenges of both tough terrain and everyday errands, the Bumbleride Indie or the Bumbleride Era are an ideal choice.
Runners will opt for the Indie, which has a three-wheeled design better suited for quick maneuverability on a run.
But if your jogging stroller will really be more of a hiking stroller, you might like the combination of city and terrain features on the new Bumbleride Era.”- Strolleria
“Eco friendly and here to stay, the Era is Bumbleride’s first stroller with four wheels and a reversible seat that allows your child to face you or face forward. While the Era isn’t intended for jogging, it still conquers rough terrain with its tough, air-filled tires and all-wheel suspension. With its compact, standing fold and smaller footprint, the Bumbleride Era is the perfect companion for families who want a rugged all-terrain stroller that’s still convenient for everyday life.” – Pish Posh Baby
“Stylishly crafted with eco materials this deluxe model comes with three front wheel settings taking you from walking to jogging to running and with a three-year guarantee, you’ll have peace of mind to pound the pavement. The 12″ front and 16” rear wheels provide rolling resistance for safety and help you to easily conquer obstacles.
The air filled tires can handle bumps and swerve along your route and the included pump ensures a flat will never stop you from getting out and about.
This luxury jogging stroller isn’t cheap, but at just 24 pounds it is a lightweight, quality product you can trust. The all-wheel suspension provides a smooth ride for your baby no matter how hard you run.” -Fiona Tapp, VeryWellFamily.com
“Why it’s our fave: The most versatile stroller on our list, the Bumbleride Speed Jogging Stroller is one of the few on the market that you can take to out for a run on the beach and then meet up friends at a fancy brunch spot… all while looking super stylish. Comprised of soft, durable fabrics made 100% from recycled polyester—the brand is responsible for keeping more than half a million water bottles out of landfills since 2011—the Speed has the sleek brushed aluminum frame of a city stroller combined with the all-wheel suspension of a jogger. About those wheels! Created for a walk/jog/run lifestyle, the front 12-inch wheel can be locked forward for runs, locked at 30-degrees for a jog, or set to 360-degree swivel when walking about town. We also love the myriad pockets (the cellphone canopy zip is genius), the easy-access foot break and the standing fold. Oh, and that it has a matching bassinet and car seat adapters, making it an option for newborns, too. If you’re looking for a one-stop-shop stroller on day one with baby that functions just as well commuting as it does knocking out a 5k in record time, this is it.
More to know: Those aforementioned fabrics are also Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class I certified to be free from harmful chemicals (including PVC & phthalate).”- Mother.ly
Thank you to Bumbleride owners, retailers, friends and community members for lending your hands in our beach clean up last week in Ocean Beach, CA at Tower 4. We set up some shade, equipped ourselves with reusable gloves, buckets and grabbers and set off to make a difference. Throughout our 2 hours of collective clean up, we saved the ocean from a ton of trash. Some of the most common items we picked up were plastic straws and snack wrappers, bottle caps, pieces of glass, cigarette butts (for parents to pick up), broken sand toys, cans, and much more.
Our goal with these clean ups is to help teach our little
citizens and future generations how cleaning up after ourselves and limiting
single use plastics prevent trash and debris from entering our oceans and
disrupting sea life. Every little bit makes a difference. Plus, they see
first-hand how they can make an immediate positive impact on their local
This clean up, we were excited to bring along a pre-production model of our newest Bumbleride family member, Era (featured below on right). Our new 4-wheel reversible seat stroller made with a unique, eco-friendly cork handle. We loved showing it off and seeing the great response!
Stay tuned for the next clean up on September 21st from 9-12pm for Coastal Cleanup Day hosted by I Love A Clean San Diego. We would love to have you and your little ones join us! Stay tuned for the Bumbleride cleanup site announcement.
