Beach Cleanup #13 + Era Test Drive Recap

July 23, 2019

Thank you to Bumbleride owners, retailers, friends and community members for lending your hands in our beach clean up last week in Ocean Beach, CA at Tower 4. We set up some shade, equipped ourselves with reusable gloves, buckets and grabbers and set off to make a difference. Throughout our 2 hours of collective clean up, we saved the ocean from a ton of trash. Some of the most common items we picked up were plastic straws and snack wrappers, bottle caps, pieces of glass, cigarette butts (for parents to pick up), broken sand toys, cans, and much more.

Our goal with these clean ups is to help teach our little citizens and future generations how cleaning up after ourselves and limiting single use plastics prevent trash and debris from entering our oceans and disrupting sea life. Every little bit makes a difference. Plus, they see first-hand how they can make an immediate positive impact on their local environment.

This clean up, we were excited to bring along a pre-production model of our newest Bumbleride family member, Era (featured below on right). Our new 4-wheel reversible seat stroller made with a unique, eco-friendly cork handle. We loved showing it off and seeing the great response!

Stay tuned for the next clean up on September 21st from 9-12pm for Coastal Cleanup Day hosted by I Love A Clean San Diego. We would love to have you and your little ones join us! Stay tuned for the Bumbleride cleanup site announcement.
